The Central Florida Chapter of the Tuskegee Airmen embraces a rich military and technological history from the Gulf Coast to the Space Coast currently referred to as the 'I-4 Tech Corridor'.

 

Our Chapter's region contains educational research campuses such as:

​

-The University of Central Florida - the largest University in the U.S. by campus and a leading technological/research school.

​

and 

​

-The University of South Florida, the nation's educational leader in technological patents.

 

Our region also features the nations' premier space launch facility - NASA's, Kennedy Space Center.

 

On the military side, we are bracketed by MacDill AFB to the east hosting the Headquarters of both U. S. Central Command and U. S. Special Operations Command and Patrick AFB to the west supporting space operations of the aforementioned Kennedy Space Center.

On the corporate side, we are proud to say that every major company in the technological and defense industry has a presence in our region; further contributing to our ecosystem of innovation and scientific advancement.
